CITY OF SANTA MONICA – RFQ – Camera Obscura Studio Artist Residency

The Camera Obscura Studio Artist Residency program connects the public with artists and artisans working within and between the worlds of fine art and craft. Artists-in-residence share their work with the public informally and through weekly workshops and a culminating presentation. This residency offers access to a multipurpose studio with a spectacular ocean view in an iconic midcentury park building overlooking the Pier.

ELIGIBILITY: The Cultural Affairs Division is requesting applications from emerging and established artists working in the fields of fine art, craft, and performance, based in Los Angeles County, with experience creating with or teaching an adult audience. Previous applicants are encouraged to apply again.

BUDGET: Parking and a $1500 honorarium is provided.
